Telangana BJP chief out of jail, vows step against cops

Forty-eight hours after a high-voltage political drama involving BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the SSC paper leak case, the MP walked out of Karimnagar prison on bail. After his release, the MP vowed to send a privilege notice to the police officer who raided his house and dragged him to court. “BRS leaders engineered the question paper leak and tried to frame me. Can I be made an accused for simply forwarding a WhatsApp post,” he asked. BJP politician in charge of Telangana Tarun Chugh said, “The Telangana government made every effort to keep Sanjay in prison and prevent him from attending PM Narendra Modi’s programme in Hyderabad but failed. ”
