ED issues fresh summons to Pinarayi aide

The Enforcement Directorate issued new summons to CM Raveendran, additional private secretary to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, asking him to appear for interrogation in LIFE Mission case. Though he was asked to be present, he didn’t turn up before the agency. The summons were issued on a day when purported WhatsApp chats between chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s former principal secretary M Sivasankar and gold-smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh about her alleged meeting with the CM in 2019 regarding a job under the Non-Resident Keralite's Affairs (NORKA) department have surfaced. This comes a day after the LIFE Mission controversy rocked the state legislative assembly.
