Actor Amitabh Bachchan suffered an injury to his rib cage while shooting an action scene for a film here last week and was treated in a private hospital in the city before being flown to Mumbai with advice to rest at least a month. Bachchan wrote about the accident in a blog post, also requesting fans not to turn up outside his home Jalsa like they usually do as he wouldn’t be able to meet them at the gate.
“In Hyderabad at shoot for Project K, during an action shot, got injured, rib cartilage popped, broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage. Cancelled shoot, did doctor consult and scan by CT at AIG hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home,” Bachchan (80) wrote.
