Heathrow Safe Deposit was created with the client in mind. As Mr Pawan Kumar has been a Jeweller on The Broadway, Southall since 1967 he envisioned a local storage facility made to the highest standards which would keep clients’ jewellery, heirlooms, and valuable items safe at a reasonable cost. Therefore, he created the most secure vault room certified in Europe for safe deposit lockers.

In addition to this the foundation built to accommodate the vault room is also made of a security graded mixture which means the vault room itself is protected by an ‘outer security layer’, in essence a vault within a vault. Which nobody has, as far as we know. In addition to the physical security there is biometric access control including facial recognition, swipe card access and fingerprint recognition which is all verified in the reception area before access is granted to the vault located in the basement of the building.

Locations

The lockers are located at 113a The Broadway Southall Middlesex UB1 1LN, behind Pawan Jewellers, the entrance is discretely located on Oswald Road through the black door.

Offering complete protection

We have found that people value the level of security we offer. Clients who do their research know that the protection offered by Heathrow Safe Deposit is truly second to none. The value in securing clients most valuable items for a nominal fee of £120-£349 per annum is value for money when you can protect up to and including £500,000.00 worth of possessions in your locker and can be fully insured up to that amount (insurance is available via an insurance company and is payable separately to the locker rental). Each locker is provided with 2 keys, upon opening your safe deposit locker we take a refundable deposit of £100 for the keys. This ensures the client that only they have the keys to their lockers and Heathrow Safe Deposit do not have any spare or master keys for the any locker.

Opening an account

To open a safe deposit locker account with Heathrow Safe Deposit we require clients to book an appointment during our opening hours which is Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30am to 6:30pm and to bring in a valid form of photo ID such as a UK Passport or a Full UK Driving licence and a form of proof of address which can be a Utility Bill (Gas/Electricity bill) dated within the previous 3 months of your scheduled visit.

Unique insurance

The safe deposit locker insurance is provided by a safe deposit locker insurance specialist that we introduce the customer to when they open their safe deposit locker account. Currently the safe deposit locker insurance company has a special offer where they are offering £10,000 complimentary insurance for the first year*. This can be increased to up to £500,000.00 per locker and the premiums are paid directly to the insurance provider. The unique aspect of this insurance is that not only can you insure your valuables within our facility, they offer what is known as a ‘Wear Policy’ where, for example, the client insures £100,000.00 in their safe deposit locker they can have a £20,000 ‘wear policy’ which covers the client when they take valuables out of their locker up to the value of their wear policy whilst they are wearing them. (Other insurance companies are available*)

High security

At Heathrow Safe Deposit we have manned security during our opening hours who assists clients and can escort the client to their vehicle if requested.

The operating procedure includes facial recognition, swipe card and fingerprint recognition which is verified in our reception on the ground floor. This ensures that the correct user is accessing their locker and only registered users are allowed into the vault area.

The vault room located in the basement of the building is the highest resistance graded vault certified by the European Certification Board of Fire and Security (ECB-S), which has been scientifically tested against core drilling and explosives. This means that the vault room doors which themselves weigh 3 tonnes each and the whole vault room, which is made up of over 300 panels, each weighing over a tonne, covering the whole vault room floor, the surrounding walls, and the whole ceiling in the basement of the building is the most secure place to keep your valuables.

Not only that, the foundation around the vault room itself is made up of a high security grade mix creating our ‘Vault in a Vault’ which increases the level of security to a level unmatched in the market.
