We have given them serious thought and it has got us nowhere- it's time now to look at their humorous and funny side. The author retired from the Indian Administrative Service in December 2010. A keen environmentalist and trekker he has published a book on high altitude trekking in the Himachal Himalayas: THE TRAILS LESS TRAVELLED. He writes for various publications and websites on the environment, governance and social issues. He divides his time between Delhi and his cottage in a small village above Shimla. He used to play golf at one time but has now run out of balls. He has published his second book- SPECTRE OF CHOOR DHAR( a collection of short stories based on the myths and fables of Himachal)- in July 2019.
