This is an unusual kind of letter, in that, the real reason in writing to you is to confirm a debate/discussion on the History of India… I went on to mention a few days ago to a group of men that: were they aware that they're Black people living in the communities if a few regions of India, who are descendants of slaves taken to India centuries ago! Everyone move more-or-less said “NAW” they don't believe that and questioned me: where have you heard this from…I went on to say: I watched a programme on TV once, on India and the descendants of the African slaves still living in India today, isolated from mainstream Indians?
Many people may not know this, even Indians themselves, as India is a Big Country with over a Billion people! The Migration of the “Sidis” the last African of India, lasted from the 12th-19th century and was imported by the Portuguese who had established a colony in India bringing Black African slaves, who now live in the western Indian state of Gujarat and Karnataka in the south…their Black descendants are numbering tens of thousands. The African slaves were mainly from East-Africa?
Obviously, you know you History of India and Gujarat, and you can research you Achieve!
