Habs Boys is an independent boys’ day school known for its academic excellence. This year’s A-Level results were exceptional and the GCSE results were the best in the school’s history.
“The results achieved this year speak for themselves,” said Headmaster, Peter Hamilton. “We were ranked the second top independent boys’ school in the country thanks to the best GCSE results in our history.
Habs Boys’ 2016 A Level results were once again outstanding, with almost 40% of applicants achieving the sought after A* grade. This year an amazing 78.5% of results were in the A*/A range and 97.7% received A*/B.
Shamil Shah, Upper Sixth pupil who achieved 4 A*s, said: “I’m really happy with my results, the teachers have helped me achieve my potential. I’m now looking forward to studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge.”
Habs Boys’ 2016 GCSE results were the highest on record, with 95.4% of boys achieving A*/A grades.
Abhiram Bibekar, who received 10 A*s, said, “I am definitely very happy with these results and I’m very proud to be part of this year group, which has achieved the best ever results on record at Habs.”
Aditya Dabral, who achieved 9 A*s and 2 As, added: “I took an extra GCSE, in Hinduism, and it was great as I received one of my A*s in this. Habs were very supportive of me taking my Hinduism course and even let me sit one of my exams at school.”
