Naidu promises to bring down power tariff

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has promised to streamline functioning of power utilities and described the present shortages as a temporary problem in the wake of the state's bifurcation. He said with the vast human and natural resources available, Andhra Pradesh would become the top state in future. Addressing the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme, he said, “With the assistance from the Centre, I ensured uninterrupted power supply in just about 100 days. I will now concentrate on improving availability of power and also bring down the power tariff in future.”
