Rafiq Ahmad, manager of the Press Trust of India’s office in London, passed away on Thursday 6th November, after a brief illness.
Ahmad, 61, was posted to London in the 1980s from New Delhi to take administrative charge of PTI operations in the UK. He also served as Treasurer of the Indian Journalists’ Association (IJA).
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
