TNT Sports has reached an agreement with Disney Star, the global rights holder of ACC, to broadcast Asia Cup 2023 live and exclusively across the UK and Ireland. The 2023 Asia Cup will be broadcast on TNT Sports from August 30 to September 17, bringing cricket fans in the UK closer to the action. Six qualifying nations will be split into two groups of three teams each for the ODI event, which Pakistan and Sri Lanka will jointly host. The format is 50 overs.

“This is an exciting development for cricket fans in the UK and Ireland. India-Pakistan is the most eagerly anticipated and highest rated match on the global cricket calendar. We’re thrilled to associate with TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland,” said Harry Griffith, Head of Acquisition & Syndication, Sports, Disney Star.

“The addition of more top-flight cricket featuring superstars from the world of Asian cricket is great news for cricket fans and TNT Sports subscribers in the UK and Ireland,” said Trojan Paillot, SVP Rights and Acquisitions, WBD Sports Europe. The first of the six group stage matches will take place on August 30 in Multan, with Pakistan hosting Nepal. This will be followed by the eagerly awaited India vs. Pakistan game, which will be held in Kandy, Sri Lanka, on September 2nd. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and the reigning champions Sri Lanka are additional teams competing in the Asia Cup.
