After a disappointing season in the previous year, Delhi Capitals are eager to have Pant back in their ranks for IPL 2024. A video released by the team on their social media platforms showcased Pant engaged in rigorous batting drills.
The return of Rishabh Pant promises to bolster Delhi's batting lineup, which struggled significantly in the 2023 season. Even if deployed as an Impact Player, Pant's presence is anticipated to provide substantial batting prowess, particularly with the absence of Harry Brook in the upcoming season.
Following a near-fatal accident while returning to his home in Roorkee, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman endured a challenging period. Pant underwent numerous surgeries in 2023 and underwent an intensive strength and conditioning regimen.
