Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was found revelling in a full 90 minute football match with players of Silli Football Academy at the Silli Stadium, in his hometown of Ranchi. Following an invite from old friend Sudesh, a footballer himself, Dhoni gave into the temptations of the sport he immensely loves.

“I was testing my endurance after a month,” said Dhoni, who played on the left flank and scored a superb goal, suffering a few bruises in the process. Taking rest for the last month, he had been playing Badminton and exercising regularly and found football to be the best way to blow off some steam.

Talking a biopic being made on him but the skipper said he wasn’t getting much involved in it. “I have been taking complete rest, spending time with the family for the last one month,” he said.
