In a spirited show of athleticism, camaraderie and teamwork, the High Commission of India XI won the much-anticipated Annual Cricket Match against FICCI XI. The West Herts Cricket Club yesterday hosted the event which showcased both the spirit of friendship and unity as well as the exceptional cricketing abilities. Families, CEOs of leading businesses and supporters who came in great numbers to cheer on the teams also enjoyed a day of fun activities.
The High Commission of India XI led by Sujit Ghosh, Deputy High Commissioner of India in the UK, showed their skill on the field and secured a hard-fought win against a FICCI XI. Both teams fought with passion and teamwork, demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship.
