The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) celebrated the achievements of Indian cricket stars and contributors at the prestigious Naman Awards 2026.
Cricket legends Roger Binny and Rahul Dravid were honoured with the Col C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the BCCI’s highest recognition for exceptional service to Indian cricket, while former India women’s captain Mithali Raj received the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women for her outstanding contribution to women’s cricket.
The ceremony also recognised top performers from the 2024–25 season. India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill received the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for the second time, while Smriti Mandhana won the Best International Cricketer (Women) award for the fifth time. In domestic cricket, Ira Jadhav received the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy for Best Woman Cricketer (Domestic), and Shafali Verma was honoured as the Best Woman Cricketer in Senior Domestic One-Day tournaments.
Meanwhile, Ayush Mhatre won the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in Domestic Limited-Overs Cricket, while Vidarbha’s Harsh Dubey was named Best All-Rounder in the Ranji Trophy. The Mumbai Cricket Association was also honoured for an outstanding domestic season, having won four trophies and finished runner-up in two tournaments.
A highlight of the Naman Awards 2026 was the felicitation of five Indian teams that secured ICC titles, including the men’s teams that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the women’s team that lifted the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, and the men’s and women’s teams that triumphed at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
