Complaints against Modi

According to political surveys over 70% of all Indians are satisfied with Sri Narendra Modi’s performance so far. Yet there are some complaints against him. Some of these complaints have nothing to do with Modi.

Jubel D’Cruz of Mumbai has made a number of complaints (Asian Voice, May 30) one of which is ‘Ghar Wapsi’. If he turns pages of Indian history he will find originally there were no Muslims and Christians in India. Their true identity is that they are ‘descendants of Hindus converted to Islam and Christianity’. In the Indian subcontinent Hindus have been going through the curse of unopposed religious conversion by Muslims for 800 years and by Christians for 200 years. Mr D’Cruz has no problem, let alone complaint against, of religious conversion of Hindus by Christian priests and nuns. Ghar Wapsi (Home coming) is rejection of conversion that took place.

He said Christians are peace loving people. Let us recall some historical facts of Christian love and peaceful acts such as the massacre at Jalinwalagh, treatment of Gandhi ji and his associates when they wanted to make salt and chopping of thumb fingers by the British Raj of those who wanted to weave saris and dhotis, slave trade from Africa to the Americas, almost complete elimination of Red Indians of North America, treatment of Maoris in New Zealand and aboriginals in Australia and creation Christian states there. Without Ghar Wapsi it is likely India will be turned into a Christian country in about another hundred years.
