Concept of Nishkam

With reference to Baroness Flather's letter dated 4/4/15 there are inaccuracies which should be noted. I feel she does not fully understand the concept of niskham(one of 5 lifelong vows which the sadhus must observe). It is evident that this practice honours and respects women rather than disrespecting them.
Baghwan Swaminaryan strove to eradicate the practice of female infanticide and that of sati. He also encouraged  women to become educated. If that is not honouring women then what is it? Also in every Swaminaryan Mandir there are murtis of gods and goddesses from the HIndu pantheon.So how she can state that these deities are not believed in is beyond me.
I feel that she should visit any any swaminaryan mandir and have a guided tour by a volunteer so that the ignorance which seems to veil her eyes and cloud her mind can be dispelled.
