Kotda Sangani Taluka

My recent visit to this Taluka was fascinating. Life Project charity had built 57 primary schools in Saurashtra from donor money. I had picked two School Nos. 38 and 46 as a random sample for a surprise visit. The students were mostly from poor background. However they were very energetic and eager to learn. The teachers and headmasters and indeed even three former headmasters were all making huge efforts to uplift these students.
If we can just make an example of this ONE TALUKA for the whole of Saurashtra by adopting it, then all the 41 villages around the Taluka would benefit. This could become a model Taluka. Urban population grew to 50% of world population in 2008. Tata has built five such model townships.
