Callous behaviour of Labour councillors

Following the protest at Eastham town hall, a meeting of local Hindus was held on Sunday 01/03/15 at the Naamdhari Gurudwara in Forest Gate. Some 500 people turned up of all ages and community groups venting their anger at the callous behaviour of the Labour run council so much so that none of the local ward Labour councillors neither the two MPs and worse still nor the only two Gujarati councillors attended.
The council has even denied more than 3,000 Hindus who have enjoyed celebrating Holi in the grounds for over 30 years. The impact on the community is devastating and there was resounding affirmation among he audience who shouted 'kick Labour out'. The gathering was very grateful that PPC for the Conservative party in Newham has taken up their case
Although during Nusound Radio phone in when I talked to CB he suggested we should go the deputy leader, one of the two Gujarati councillors however he has already been approahed by phone and email more than ten times without avail. As a Gujarati this person should hang his head in shame in ignoring the emotions of his community at the behest and wishes of his party.
It is clear that Hindus will be marginalised under Labour run administration and Hindus all over the country have choice tactfully to vote in solidarity of the Newham Hindus in the coming election.
For any other religious group this would have been unthinkable not least with the phoney excuses the council have given. Needless to say remember that current child abuse/grooming cases, Trojan horse episodes in schools and mismanagement of funds have mostly occured in Laour run council all of which are against basic Hindu principles of truth, honesty, peace, self sufficiency and tolerance of others
