Those tightly woven circular wire pads are ideal for removing stubborn remnants from the bottom and sides of cooking pans.
However after a while these excellent scouring pads disintegrate, leaving tiny pieces of wire that are difficult to dislodge from pans and can only be removed by excessive rinsing.
I would advise users to replace their wire pads with new ones immediately they start falling apart. Otherwise they are in danger of consuming a new meal called “wire curry”.
