I refer to the article in Asian Voice, page 24, 10th October 2015, about the unfortunate act by P. Tirumala Rao, who beheaded an innocent 4 year old child in Andhra Pradesh, in order to offer his blood to Goddess Kali to seek divine powers.
This is really an act by someone who needs help as nowhere in our scriptures has indicated that Goddess Kali can be pleased with innocent bloodshed and human sacrifice. In actual fact, Goddess Kali punishes such evil people.
Rao was caught by villagers who tied him to a tree and doused him with kerosene and set him on fire, but he was saved by the police. But I am curious to know what justice is given to the family and individuals who have lost loved ones in this brutal act and what and how Rao is going to be made to pay for his inhumane deeds!
