Sardar Patel Society

On a number of occasions I have mentioned in my speeches  that C.B. is an institution for Gujaratis in U.K. I am life member and  past trustee of S.P.M. Society. I had the privilege to work with Mr. Praveen Amin, C.B., Bhanubhai Pandya ( V.P.) and I must mention very important events namely the installation of a statue of Sardar at the High Commission by the Deputy P.M. of India, as well as a celebration in House of commons where the Chief Guest was Shree Keshubhai Patel the then C.M. of Gujarat. Addresses by present P.M.Shree Narendrabhai of India on very specific subject i.e (jo sardar no hot to) If there was no Sardar Patel.

Also we had an inspiring address on Sardar by Poojniya Jashbhai Sahebji. I do remember C.B. had played important role. One would be deeply hurt in view of success story of past events of S.P.M.S prior to succession to the throne by present office holders who has hardly done any event save selling £ 10 ticket. I must draw attention of your reader that never was any charge  levied for any event above mentioned.

In my  opinion the organisation president ought to reply to C.B.Patel under what provision of constitution new or old he and
his committee has taken unnecessary divisive decision. He should have given show cause notice if C.B. had done irresponsibly wrong. Not to print or not to put photos of his committee members does not warrant such drastic humiliation of  person of high integrity.

I am sure good sense will prevail and  present Trustee like Jayantibhai  Patel and Jitubhai will come forward to solve this impasse.
