Sardar Patel Memorial Society (UK)

I cannot understand how a body like the Sardar Patel Memorial Society (UK) can behave like a banana republic government.

Any fair minded person would not arbitrarily terminate somebody’s membership without giving that person sufficient notice and opportunity to express himself either personally or through a representative.

The late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is highly regarded for his excellent workmanship in bringing about various Indian states together at the time of partition of India in 1947. And in 2014, in England a society formed to emulate his work is doing exactly the opposite.

No doubt non-Indians and probably many Indians as well, are making a mockery of us.

One of the persons who voted to withdraw Shri C B Patel’s membership is Jayanti Patel. I am led to believe that he is Jayanti Fullabhai Patel who is a very senior person within the Hindu Swayamsewak Sangh parivar in the UK. If this is true, this is bad news for the Hindu community. Dr. Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar founded the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) to unite Hindus. Probably this is a case of Jayanti Fullabhai Patel has not understood the RSS/HSS nor vice versa.

Sardar Patel was known as the Iron Man of India. By their deed it is obvious that no office bearers of the Sardar Patel Memorial Society have this quality of this great leader of India.

Sardar Patel Memorial Society needs to think hard and fast.
