I had privilege to meet C .B. Patel at a program arranged by Friends of India Society International at V.H.P.’s Hindu Centre-Croydon.
The program was meant to furnish feedback about P.M. of India Mananiya Modiji and visit to U.K. during November 2015.
My hearing disability was not handicap due to consanguine nature of C.B Patel. He responded warmly to all those whom he knew. He went around the hall, meeting friends and acquaintances more times than formality would permit.
Mr. Raghu Shetty, education and efficiency consultant, undertook to write gist of points by various speakers in my diary. Thus I was able to follow main points by various speakers and especially trend pursued by C. B. Patel.
The striking feature about C. B. Patel was that his speech was very short. This allowed many questions from the audience, which were answered to satisfaction of the member as was evident from body language or member and C. B. Patel.
The whole exercise served to spread awareness about good work by P. M. Modiji, his efforts, achievements, national and international impact.
We must thank F.I.S.I. for this magnificent gesture which was well planned and executed. C.B. Patel deserved the honor bestowed upon him.
