Hindus Caste System

Manoj’s letter favouring amendment to the Equality Act 2010 against Hindus’ caste system, is noteworthy. Information about discrimination in Gujarat and Kerala, are isolated cases and should not be generalized for all Indians and U.K. Hindus. Government of India and the mass of population is struggling hard to eliminate this curse. But positive news is suppressed by toxic press, home grown traitors and foreign meddlers. However, discrimination in India must not be used as yardstick for legislations in U.K., to target Hindus. It cannot be denied that discrimination is prevalent in Non-Hindu communities in U.K. as well. Therefore, this amendment, that targets Hindus specifically, must be shelved.

Those who blame Hindus for discrimination, must acknowledge that Hindus have allowed all and any Indian citizens at highest posts, without discrimination, within India and abroad. Hindu women have progressed at all levels of national and international arenas. Counting from prominent Hindu ladies in U.K. we have prominent Hindu women in India, as pilots of jet fighter planes, Prime Minister, speaker in Parliament, top politicians, athletes, cricket and hockey players, actors, singers, women astronauts, and chief executive officers. With such empowerment, amendment to include Hindus in Equality Act 2010, is waste of time.
