Ganeshji on Indonesia currency

Thank you for general knowledge information about picture of Hindu deity Ganesh ji on currency notes of Indonesia, where Hindus are merely 3% of the population. Minority community, secularists and liberal thinkers, in India must open their eyes to respect to Hinduism in a Muslim majority country. Hindus in India must also acknowledge Indic effect of Hinduism in all parts of the world. World has accepted Sanskrit, Indic Nonviolence, Yoga and vegetarianism. Bangkok has mural of Hindu episode “Samudra Manthan” in its international airport. Its air line is named as Garuda airlines after Garuda a vehicle of Hindu deity Vishnu. Switzerland’s CERN, the Hadron collider consortium has installed statue of Hindu God Shiva. It links Shiva with nuclear energy. Statue of Hindu/Jain personage Gandhiji, in many countries of the world, is a known fact. God particle Higgs Bosun particle was originally propounded by Indian physicist, Satyendrakumar Bose.

More than 100 Indian words have been accepted as English words by Oxford English Dictionary, e.g. masala, tikka, maharaja, raani, bindi, sari, curry, Madras curry, mufti, putty, cheese-as in Hindi, and many more. Export of Budhhism to China and Japan is no secret. Kenya has declared Divali as a national holiday. It accepted Hindu religious words HAR and Ambe as its national slogan HARAMBEE. But this effect is not a surprise to fans of Swami Vivekananda ji. He had predicted “waves after waves of spiritual benevolence will rise from India to shores of the whole world.” Add to this promotion of Sanskrit language on global basis. Declaring a day of YOGA on global basis is also one of the effects. Indic influence is acting on civilisation as we know it today. But Hindus have no collective voice or strength to shout in ears of the world. Fortunately, western intelligentia has opened its eyes to Indic / Hindu potential treasure trove of pure and applied knowledge.
