Empire debate

The assumption of Mughal Empire being natural for India was fundamentally wrong and absurd. The Mughal Empire was a Muslim colony. It was established by invaders from outside India. Before its establishment India was the most prosperous and educationally most advanced country in the world. There were many universities such as Takshashila, Nalanda, Ujjayini, Amravati, Kashi, Vikramshila, Madura, and Valavi. The Mughals destroyed all of them and also almost all industries. Their sole objective was to Islamise India by any means possible.

The objective of colonizing a country is economic exploitation and subjugation of its people. The British rule of India was not an exception to this rule. However after over six hundred years of Islamic tyranny, subjugation and religious conversion the British rule came as a great relief for Hindus. The British restored education in India by establishing universities at Calcutta, Bombay, Madras and Delhi. It was the British missionaries especially Frederick Max Muller translated the Vedas into English and propagated it outside India. Hindus did not do that. It was the education that helped the Indian Hindus to come back to life and rediscover their real identity and finally brought the final curtain of the British rule.
