Downfall of Jaya

Monday 13th October 2014 16:41 EDT

No doubt Jaya was able administrator with charismatic personality who turned Tamil Nadu into industrialized State, following into the foot-steps of Gujarat and her idol Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, now PM of India.

Jaya’s loyal fiduciary who was sworn in as CM, refused to occupy her office, out of respect to her fallen idol. Let us hope that this is the start, not the end of corrupt politicians being hauled before courts, as equivocate Robert Vadhre and many leading politicians obsessed with trappings of office, being married into dynastic family, are facing allegations far worse than Jaya who unable to equate her declared assets with her income rather than deposit corrupt money in Swiss accounts beyond reach of justice. Perhaps this may lead to bunker mentality, ominous to further prosecutions.

CBIis already investigating Sarada Ponzi Scam involving some MPs from Mamata Banerjee’s ruling Trinamool Congress with sinister motive of overthrowing Sheikh Hasina’s liberal government in Bangladesh. There is clamour for President’s rule in West Bengal.
