The irony is that ISIL was created by and with the encouragement of some western nations.
Incidentally it is inaccurate that 5 soldiers died after Parliament was stormed. The only soldier who died in Ottawa was the one shot in front of the war memorial. The shooter then travelled to Parliament Hill, where he did go inside the building but did not harm anyone. He was taken down by security forces before he could do so.
