Asian Voice is now a must read

Asian Voice of late is providing contents which are not available elsewhere. You have some eminent columnists, selection of news from UK, India and the diaspora as well as many profiles of various outstanding individuals, Readers’ Voice, Back to Roots column and, last but not least, the As I See It column.

As a Patel myself, I was very happy and delighted to note that Publisher/Editor CB Patel calls himself audaciously proud of our history and heritage.

I must admit that the details about the origin, emigration and professional trials and triumphs of Patels who are going from strength to strength is not only very interesting but informative for my three children with whom I shared your article.

I belong to Central Gujarat and my grandfather did talk about Vir Vasandas. You have said that though he was not well educated formally he was a very skilled chess player and had an expert eye for diamonds and precious stones.

Can I humbly request you to write a separate article about the period prior to the major Patel gathering in Pipalav with relevant details. We ought to know more about Pati-land and Dar-Owners.

I await your cooperation.
