Amendment to Equality Act 2010

It seems the lobbies in favour of the amendment to the Equality Act 2010 are harping on the same string pulled by the political and other faith groups in India using their influence by unfair methods who want to come back to power and convert Hindu people reviving the reservations on the basis of caste system for the last 70 years, making it deeply rooted allowing the reservations with numerous benefits, to be extended permanently which was meant for only 10 years initially, according to Mahatma Gandhi’s earnest wish.

The Race Relations Act can’t be compared with the envisaged amendment which is a fabricated account of lies; prior to freedom Hindus have got rid of all the evil practices listening to Mahatma Gandhi.

It is said that caste/class and dowry were prevalent in the past in European princely states; and staunch economic classes in which people are treated differently are the most negative aspects.

The caste system in Hindu society prevails as Goldsmith etc prevails in European society. Any one born in an Indian family known well how women - mother, sister, daughter etc are treated reverently.

The purpose of the unfair envisaged amendment, seems is to frighten Hindu people and compel them to relinquish their religion and join other one; and that will be undemocratic.

‘Varna’ does not mean ‘colour’, but describes citizens’ duties in those days according to their ability and choice to do ‘karma’ ie work, done by, for example, a teacher, a warrior, a farmer etc. It is quite obvious that dalits who have been converted to other faiths should neither have a say in the matter nor have a complant about it now. While Hindu Harijans, knowing what is being done for them, don’t complain about it. Mr Kovind, a Harijan, is elected as the President of India by the NDA government recently. Castes are being shed in modern nations.
