C B Patel, All-Party Committee for Direct Flight UK Coordinator, and Bhupatrai Parekh, Coordinator for India, met Gujarat ministers regarding Ahmedabad-London direct flight. They met Gujarat minister for finance, energy and civil aviation Saurabh Patel and had a long discussion on resuming direct flight. They also met education minister Bupendrasinh Chudasma, cottage industry minister of state Tarachand Chheda, cooperation and village development state minister Jayantibhai Kavadia at Gandhinagar. All the ministers assured their full cooperation for the resumption of direct flight.
C B Patel and Bhupatrai also met Waghbhakri Tea group chief Piyush Desai. He also assured his wholehearted support for the cause. CB Patel had telephonic talk with Congress leader Shankersinh Vagela and BJP chief whip in Rajya Sabha Mansukhbhai Mandavia. Mandavia is the convenor of Campaign Committee. They also met BJP national vice president Purushottam Rupala regarding the direct flight.
