TCS doubles its cloud business

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has strategically decided to double its cloud business into five strategic units. As India’s largest software service exporter, Cloud practice has been split into five units - Amazon Web Services, Google, Azure, TCS’ private cloud arm and a cloud consulting unit. All these businesses will have their own business units and P&L. Covid-19 has created room for opportunity for high tech IT services providers and most organisations are moving to the Cloud form. According to analysts, each cloud services unit could generate a few billion dollars in revenue over the next five years.
