Bengaluru: In a new twist to IAS officer D K Ravi’s unnatural death case, the Karnataka Government has re-issued its notification to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after withdrawing the three-month time limit it had earlier set for completing the case. Additional chief secretary confirmed the new development and said his department had now formally asked for an unconditional investigation by the central agency. The CBI had rejected Karnataka's March 24 notification that stipulated that the investigation and the report should be completed in three months.
