Opposition seeks President's rule in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Opposition leaders from the Congress, TDP, and Left parties have met the Telangana Governor and demanded that President Rule be imposed in the state to hold free and fair elections. In a significant gathering of united opposition leaders (except BJP) at Telangana Raj Bhavan, the delegation met Governor ESL Narsimhan and gave representation against caretaker Telangana Rastra Samiti government and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The delegation consisted Telugu Desap Party (TDP) state unit head L Ramana with Congress state Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, Professor Kodand Raam's party TJS and Left parties met the Governor and alleged that CM KCR is misusing power as the caretaker CM. They demanded that election be held in the state under the President's Rule.
