CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is known to have a rather strong fanbase that often makes the headlines for going overboard. In yet another incident of crossing the line for their beloved Amma, two loyal AIADMK workers committed suicide as they worried about their Puratchi Thalavi's ill health. Sargunam doused himself in kerosene after demanding Apollo hospital authorities and the government to reveal the CM's real health, later succumbing to the injuries. 60 year old Saravanan, meanwhile, consumed poison. This isn't the first time Jaya fans claimed their own lives. At least 10 fans committed suicide and 6 died of a heart attack last year, when the Karnataka High Court passed an order to jail the CM in a disproportionate assets case.
