CHENNAI: The DMK has sought a thorough probe after allegations made by Director General (Prisons) Roopa that AIADMK leader VK Sasikala was bribing her way through in prison, came to light. DMK spokesperson A Sarvanan said, “After the inquiry I think an FIR should be registered under the prevention of corruption act for the violation of prison rules.” He also said that whatever luxury Sasikala was enjoying should be discontinued, as she misused the liberty given to her inside the prison. The DIG had submitted a report claiming that Sasikala bribed prison officials to avail special facilities in the central prison.
