Cross-culture romance entangled in red tape

Chennai: The cross-culture romance between a native Tamil and a Belgium national has been entangled in red tapism. Suresh Kumar met Sara Roggeman at a ship where they both worked. He said they got married at a small temple at Namakkal district but the temple authorities refused to solemnise their wedding citing that he is a Hindu and the bride a Christian. Without certificate, their marriage cannot be registered and Roggeman could not come and live with her husband in India.
