PM Modi inaugurates Rashtra Prerna Sthal on Vajpayee’s 101st birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow on the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The site honors Vajpayee’s ideals of self-respect, unity, and service. 

In his address, Modi emphasised the importance of collective effort, or "Sabka Prayas," to achieve a developed India. He also extended Christmas greetings and recalled the birth anniversaries of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Madan Mohan Malaviya, and Maharaja Bijli Pasi, paying tribute to their contributions to nation-building. Modi noted that the site, previously a large garbage dump, has been transformed over the past three years into a national memorial.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee for their lasting impact on India. He credited Mookerjee for strengthening national unity and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Modi highlighted Upadhyaya's Antyodaya vision, benefiting millions through welfare schemes, and noted the expansion of social security to 95 crore people. 

He also credited Vajpayee's government for digital identity, telecom reforms, highways, and India's rise as the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer, with Uttar Pradesh leading production.
