Haryana to honour Good Samaritans

Panchkula: Haryana government is working to create a system under which people engaged in lending a helping hand to those in need would be honoured and rewarded, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said. Addressing the gathering at the Panchkula Marathon 2015 organised by the Haryana police here, Khattar said that good Samaritans would be honoured as well as rewarded. The Chief Minister, who also participated in the marathon, described the youth as the future of the nation. "The country has high hopes from the young generation and they have to play a bigger role in nation-building," he said.
