CHANDIGARH: After a recent report showed the Haryana government imposing sexist dress code on school teachers, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar came forward to deny any such directive. "No, there is no such order that has been issued by the state government. And, if someone has said anything like this, then we take it back, but no such thing has happened," said Khattar to the media. According to the report, the order issued by the Director of Elementary Education, asked district education officers to ensure teachers do not wear jeans when they go to school or to the office of the education department. The four-line order read wearing jeans to work was not appropriate and the teachers should wear formal clothes.
