Delhi based pop band 'The Ska Vengers' has made a music video in honour of freedom fighter Udham Singh, who is best known for assassinating Michael O'Dwyer in revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar.

The animated video titled “Frank Brazil”, alias used by him during his undercover trip overseas, shows Singh and trails his life from the Amritsar massacre, to shooting O'Dwyer in London 21 years later. It will premiere on music channel VH1 India, 75 years to the day after Singh was executed in London. Band's vocalist Taru Dalmia said the song was inspired by American singer Bessie Smith's famous death song “Send me to the 'lectric chair”.

O'Dwyer was the British Lieutenant Governor of Punjab when the Jallianwala Bagh killings unfolded. Udham Singh travelled to England for revenge and shot the British dead in a London hall.
