Akali, BJP workers in verbal duel at Amritsar

Amritsar: BJP and SAD members engaged in a verbal face off at the Amritsar assembly segment recently, as both the parties raised slogans against each other. BJP's Navjot Kaur Sidhu who represents the constituency, had protested against lack of funds for developmental works in her area, following which, £1 million was eleased by the state government. When Sidhu reached the assembly segment for inspection, a few Akali workers raised slogans against her, provoking retaliation from BJP. She also indulged in a verbal duel with the opposition.
