3 year old Gurugram girl brutally killed after rape

NEW DELHI: A disgusting incident of rape and murder came to light in Delhi NCR's Gurugram region, where a three year old girl was found with bricks on her body and a 10 cm long wooden stick between her legs. The unclad body was found with a polythene bag over her face. The girl had gone missing on Sunday morning, only for her body to be found later at a vacant shop in a nearby area. Her family members had not filed a missing person's report and were looking for the minor themselves. A neighbour spotted the body inside one of the two rooms used as a shop near a temple. Assistant commissioner of police (crime) Shamsher Singh said, “A team from Sector 65 police station, forensic experts, and senior officials went to the spot and examined the scene of crime. The spot was barely 300 metres from the hut where the victim's family lives.” The accused has been identified as 20 year old Sunil Kumar, a migrant labourer and resident of Uttar Pradesh.
