The result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been declared. For the first time, Gujarati candidate has grabbed a place in the top 10. Kartik Jivani from Surat secured the eighth position. Shubham Kumar from Bihar has secured first position in the exams. He has graduated in BTech. While Jagruti Awasthi and Ankita Jain have grabbed second and
third positions respectively. The top 25 candidates include 13 men and 12 women. This time, 13 candidates from Gujarat have cleared the exams.
In 2017, Kartik appeared for the exam but was not able to clear it. In 2019, Kartik was selected for IPS as he secured first position in Gujarat and 84th rank in India. However, in his third attempt, Kartik made a record by securing the eighth position.
