West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh was attacked by a group of people while he was out for a morning walk. According to a tweet, the mob attacked the BJP MP and several BJP workers at Lake Town. Reports say that the incident took place when Ghosh was on his way to take part in ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ with several BJP workers. The attack comes two days after Ghosh stirred a row with his aggressive remarks by asking BJP workers to bash up TMC workers if they were attacked by them. While addressing party workers at an event in East Midnapore, Ghosh ordered them to beat up TMC workers and even police personnel if attacked. Ghosh also warned TMC workers of the same fate as senior Congress leader P Chidambaram over alleged corruption cases. The police registered a case against MP on the charge of trying to incite violence.
