PM Modi praises Greek family’s rendition of hit Mohammed Rafi song

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently took to the micro-blogging platform X, formerly called Twitter, to share a video of a Greek family singing a Mohammed Rafi song in perfect harmony. Expressing his appreciation, he wrote, “Shabash! (well done).”

The video shows Konstantinos Kalaitzis and his family singing a rendition of ‘Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache Re’ by Mohammed Rafi. Modi can also be seen holding a rose and thoroughly enjoying their performance in the video. He generously praised the family towards the end of the clip.

Modi captioned the video, “Konstantinos Kalaitzis loves India, particularly Indian music and culture. This passion is also shared by his family. This small video gives a glimpse of it.” The video has gone viral, amassing over 2.1 million views and counting. People have been sharing their reactions in the comments section. Many were overwhelmed by the video and praised the family’s beautiful singing, while others simply expressed their admiration through heart emoticons.
