This year's jury for India's Oscar entries, lead by Amol Palekar, has already watched over 45 films and news is that two well acclaimed Tamil films have been already selected. Dhanush-Vetrimaaran produced 'Kaaka Muttai' directed by Manikandan and S S Rajamouli's record smashing 'Baahubali' have made the cut along with Aamir Khan's 'PK', Priyanka Chopra's 'Mary Kom', Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Masaan', Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Haider' and Prashanth Nair's 'Umrika'. The final list will be officially announced on 25th September.
