Shruti Haasan has been away from the Tamil cinema for a while now. Her last release was 'Si3' with Suriya back in early 2017. However, she plays a lead role in Kamal Haasan's 'Sabaash Naidu,' the film from which we haven't heard in a long time. Meanwhile, Shruti has been busy with her musical endeavors and even during the Independence Day parade in New York, she rendered Vande Mataram, making India proud.
After wowing thousands of Indian fans in NYC with her Vande Mataram verse at the India Independence Day Parade, she recently kick-started the Pro Kabaddi season for 2018 with the National Anthem in Chennai. Fans cheered for their diva in full force and the atmosphere she created was just electric.
