Trailer of web series 'Breathe' tells a lot about the story, however, dimpled actor R Madhavan has a huge surprise for the audience. The story revolves around a father who kills organ donors to save the life of his son who needs a heart transplant surgery. An investigating officer wants to catch the killer.
When asked why the makers unveiled the entire story in the trailer, Madhavan said, “Well, despite the audience getting to know who is the killer and why he is killing, who is going to catch him and if at all... I can confidently tell you that the audience will be surprised to watch what happens in the end.” He added, “When we were preparing the trailer, we knew that people might just come up with this question, but the show has much to offer because it is not a murder mystery, it is a thriller. So even though you know who the killer is, there is much to discover in the episodes.”
His first web series, Madhavan has just delivered his blockbuster 'Vikram Vedha'. With a successful career spanning over fifteen years, many have questioned his decision of shifting to the digital arena. “I have been doing the research for quite some time. I didn't forecast brands like Amazon and Netflix to step in, but I realised that there will be an explosion with digital content around 5 years back.” His confident grew when he met director Mayank Sharma and heard the script. “The creative and logistical aspects came beautifully together for 'Breathe'. If you take the seventh and eighth episodes, I don't think any other series in the world has a finale as dynamic as this,” Maddy said.
“I am not saying this as it is my product, but it is something that I am very proud of,” he added.
