Sivakarthikeyan and director M Rajesh are joining hands for a Tamil comedy film, bankrolled by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. While the project is expected to take off from July, it is reported that the filmmakers have roped in actress Nayanthara to play the female lead. The yet-untitled film marks Siva's second film with Nayan after their massive success 'Velaikkaran'. It is no secret that he is fond of the 'Aramm' actress, and fans constantly float them together.
“I only worked with her for two days. From what I gathered, I found her to be very professional. I think women are going to love her character. She has created space for women-centric films. So many women who want to become actors look up to her. It was a great learning experience to work with her and Fahadh,” Sivakarthikeyan said about Nayan. The upcoming project, touted to be an out-and-out comedy, went on the floors recently after a formal pooja ceremony in Chennai.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Siva and Nayan are busy with several work commitments. While Nayan has recently joined the sets of Thala Ajith Kumar's 'Viswasam' in Hyderabad, she also has films like 'Imaikka Nodigal', 'Aramm 2', 'Kolamaavu Kokila', and 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' in her kitty. Siva, on the other hand, awaits the release of the rural entertainer 'Seema Raja', directed by Ponram.
